The God Hypothesis

One of the main causes of the atheist delusion is the massive volume of man-made religious texts, principles and beliefs that are attributed to the Creator. The Christian Trinity is one such delusion promoting instrument. Human religious history covers an enormous duration. To every people, culture or nation of the earth, God has sent an apostle at some stage in their history. How that apostle was received varies. The Jewish revelation is the Torah, the Christian is the Injeel or Gospels and the Islamic revelation is the Quraan. With time, every revelation except the Holy Quraan has mutated and been adulterated to the extent that it no longer reflects the original revelation. Jesus, for example, did not hear the word Jesus in his life and spoke Aramaic. Not a single religious text that compiles the Christian Bible is written Aramaic. This has resulted in additions, omissions, errors in transmission and difficulty in translating from language to language. Most Biblical texts are in Greek, a language that Esa (Jesus) never heard.

Christians will be shocked at this truth. The Holy Quraan is the only text where the verses were written and memorised from the beginning of the revelation and so remains pure and original. Care has to be taken in the translation to other languages to ensure the message is not lost.

The Quraan, being the “Criterion” guiding to the right path advises Christians that Jesus is the Messiah. However, the advice to Christians (People of the Book ) s not to use the term “Trinity”.

The Bible does not use the word “Trinity,” nor is there an obvious statement of the doctrine anywhere to be found in the New Testament, much less the Old Testament.

FIRST JOHN 5:7 used to state:

“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 8. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. (KJB).”

The red text in the above passage is omitted from the NIV and RSV and is footnoted or missing in nearly all modern versions, reading instead, "There are three that bear record, the Spirit, and the water and the blood" or something closely akin.

The passage is missing from every known Greek manuscript except four. These four are all late manuscripts. This supports the Islamic contention of over 1,400 years ago and eliminates the Trinity as a point of attack by atheists. It is not found in the Old Latin in its early form and it is not in Jerome's Vulgate (c.405).
