Atheists
What better place to start than atheism. The ideological leader of atheism is Richard Dawkins, with his book, “The God Delusion”, a handbook for the atheists. This is a book of 10 chapters that reveal the perspective of the atheist.
The title of this book is very apt, as Dawkins is totally deluded when it comes to God the Creator. He did not bother to dig very deep in his search for God and so had little chance of getting beyond his delusions to the truth about God. A sense of despair and bewilderment comes through in his message. His hope was to create more atheists by “consciousness-raising” messages, so I entered his domain with a bit of trepidation. Would his reasoning challenge my logic in faith? Well, I emerged more than victorious and this section will be developed to explain how and why.
Dawkin’s book is not a book that will stand the test of time as some sort of classic, but rather has a school boy essay style.
